All of the Employees of Central Federal want to welcome you to “Central Federal Online”.  At the same time we want to make you aware of some basic safety issues that can be related to using the Internet.

Always be aware of who you are corresponding with when you are online.  Remember that if you bank with CFSL we already have your account information and will never ask you for it online.  But there are con and scam artists that will claim they are from Central Federal or other reputable businesses and they will ask you for your account information.  Don’t give it to them!!!  When you furnish the information it does not go to CFSL but to a bogus site that enables a scam artist to use your account information to access your accounts.

Another safety tip to be aware of, is when you access a website and you see https in the address line of the Site it indicates that this Site uses encryption for security purposes.  You may also observe a small padlock in the lower right corner of the website.  When you click on the padlock you should see the websites “Certificate” which indicates the owner of the site.  We encourage you to do this on our Online Banking site to ensure you are really on the Central Federal website.

Don’t share your User Name or Password with anyone.  When this is done you have just given that person access to your account information.  This can also allow them access to your funds.

Before you start the application process for CFSL Online Banking please know that you will need to have the following Internet Secure Browser software with a Global ID 128-bit encryption.  The Browser software must be capable of supporting encryption of data transmitted between the computer you are using and our website.  Our Site is best viewed using the most current Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer web browsers.  If you choose to use another browser to access our Site, we assume no responsibility for the resulting layout or content.  As Netscape and Microsoft release updated browsers, this site will evolve with their advancing technology.  It is also advisable to use reputable Antivirus software on your computer.

The Application process – In an effort to protect your account(s) we require that after you have completed the application on your computer you bring it in to our office at 210 W 10th St, Rolla, MO 65401.  By doing this you have developed your user name and password and we can verify that you are in fact the account owner and that you are the person requesting the service and will activate the account.  If you live out of the immediate Rolla area we ask that you print the agreement sign it and mail it to us at PO Box 536, Rolla, MO  65402-0536.  Upon receipt we will call and verify that you did originate the request and activate your Online Banking account.

Consumer Applications – Should be completed by each person who is to have access to the account(s) online.  After you have completed the application we ask that each of you print the application and bring it in or mail it to Central Federal to complete the activation process.

Business Applications – If you are a business customer we ask that the owner or responsible authorized person please come into Central Federal and complete the application process, we will set up your online relationship at that time.

When you come into the office we will review some of the features with you and by the time you get back home or to your business location your Online relationship should be ready to use.
